Tell us about your career and accomplishments and where you want to go next in your career:
I am an Ophthalmic Technician. Most don't know what that is but I basically work with patient's eyes and eyesight. I can honestly say I love what I do. I have the privilege of learning something new everyday and work aside passionate surgeons who genuinely love what they do too. Imagaine a life without the ability to see? Having the capability to prevent vision loss for people with eye conditions/diseases is truly gratifying. My long-term goal is to become a Certified Ophthalmoc Medical Technologist which it the highest level of certification you can recieve as a technican.

What are you most passionate about?
To care for people and all living things.

What's your biggest fear?
Heights and big bodies of water. The feeling you get in your gut when you're free falling... ya not for me. I also can't swim so me and the ocean are not close friends but I do love and admire her from afar or at most waist deep.

What superpower would you choose to have?
I'd have to really get over my fear of height for this one but I'd have the power to fly. I really want to travel whenever I want and flights are not cheap.

Currently, everyone is quarantined, tell us what have you been doing with your time?
Although I haven't stopped working full time, quarantining brought out the green thumb I thought I never had. I now have over 35 house plants in my little 2 bedroom appartement. Im trying to create a jungle in my livingroom.

I
f you had to give your younger self advice what would you say?
I would tell my younger self to stop doubting yourself and keep pushing because everything will turn out how it's suppose to.

Ready to be a #kindgirl?

A KINDGIRL is someone who is environmentally aware, influential, culturally conscious and beautiful inside and out.

Do you think you have what it takes to be our next KINDGIRL? If so, please apply! We encourage girls of all shapes, sizes, races, backgrounds and ethnicities in applying to become the next KINDGIRL, as we believe beauty has no boundaries.

KINDKINNIS only accepts one KINDGIRL per month, so if you don't get a call back—keep applying! I'm sure you're next.

We require all KINDGIRLS to have a strong social media presence. To be chosen, you must have relevant and appropriate content on your page. Our administrators will NOT choose any account with inappropriate and salacious content as a future KINDGIRL. With our KINDKINIS platform, we want to feature women who are seen as good role models for younger girls. We want to show them that beauty comes in all shapes and sizes, without promoting any sexualized notions.

Follow the link below to apply and tell us why you believe you deserve to be our next #KINDGIRL. You can also recommend someone you think would be a perfect fit as our KINDGIRL of the month <3
